Review: Yhis thing is a pice of CRAP. The graveyard holds no more than 25 cards. It is not educational cuz it dose the counting for you,and when you fold it back to walk with it it jumps back at you in 3 seconds. Trust me you are better off with out this thing.

Review: I play with this toy every day and the slogan for this toy should be "everyday play!" because i play with it everyday! i love this toy more than any other toy i have. i love yu-gi-oh! yu-gi-oh cards also help to teach math and use some chemistry. Take for example oxygeddon's effect. oxygeddon is made of oxygen and when something that is pyro (fire) attacks it both players lose life points, indicating that when fire is in contact with oxygen it could cause an explsion.

Love,
Robbie

Review: I'm actually a teen and a senior in high school. Why would I want or even NEED this "kid's toy"?
This is THE item a Yu-Gi-Oh! cosplayer (someone who dresses up like a YGO! character for non-anime fans) needs to have to capture the genuine look of Yugi, Yami, Seto Kaiba, Jonouchi (Joey), or any other Battle City duelist. Sure, it may be bulky and a bit heavy, but the idea of a Seto Kaiba or Yami without a duel disk is inconcivable and makes the costume incomplete.
It's not just a toy anymore, it's now a prop for all good YGO! cosplayers.

Summary: My boys 10 & 7 LOVE this! I still have reservations.......

Review: My boys Mario & Nicholas have desperately "needed" these for a long time. I was always successful at re-directing this desperate need elsewhere. The thought of spending 30.00 times 2 on a typical Friday night out was staggerging. But OH that guilt everytime they talked about them would burn in me for at least 1 full minute. Then one day I caved!

This is not a one person toy. You need someone else who will play the card game with you. The purpose of this toy is to provide a "game board" for playing with the Yu-Gi-Oh cards.

The overall scoop on this toy is as follows: The toy is basically a very large plastic toy that rests on your child's forearm. There is a small fabric (halloween costume quality) arm band that is supposed to secure this to the child's arm. There are also two velcro straps which are meant to help hold this securely. This set-up works fine for my 10 year who has an "athletic build" and his arms are fuller. My 7 year old is one of these "drink of water", "skinny", fast kids and his limbs are very long and very thin. I added extra velcro (the stick on kind) to help hold this on his little arm. The weight of the toy makes it necessary for it to fit securely on the arm. There is a slot which holds your "dueling deck" and another which is the "graveyard" (spent cards). The big plastic "wing part" is your game board. The toy is a simple as that. There are buttons that light up and score counters, hence the batteries.

I don't know about you but in my world, a 30.00 game board is simply not necessary, BUT in my boys world, I am dead WRONG...and I am the first to admit it. They LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these!

This toy is large to store! It is part of my boys room's decor. It is constantly out in my home and it gets a whole lot of "play time." I have spent $60 on small appliances for myself that I have used less.

This has made my investment in Yu-Gi-Oh cards worthwhile. This toy gives them a cool and good reason to duel.

I have not had any issues with breakage. The toy is self-sufficient and child friendly. There is no impact on my time to set it up when the boys play. They do this on their own. I am constantly telling them to pick them up though...a great sign when you have so much invested in a toy, at least in my opinion.

Ovarall, as a parent, I am thrilled that my boys are so thrilled and use these as much as they do. They are not in constant use but there is a consistency to their use. They never end up in the back of the closet. My boys really did "NEED" these toys and I was too overly value consciousness to spring for them earlier. My mistake!

If your children are like mine and have been expressing an interest in these, give in and purchase these for them. This will get one of the "WOW" reactions!

Just keep repeating to yourself, "it's not about me!"
