Review: shopping in toy r us seen the twister even read the box that stated very clearly you needed the flex battery. got 2 twisters and 2 flex pack batteries. while at work and because of all the bad reviews, decided to play with the twisters before santa came to town. the best thing next to ice cream, they worked great even with both at the same time. no problems, for now own all you have to do is read the box its all there even the price.

Review: Yeah, yeah, you all are on about the $30 battery pack, haven't you ever bought R/C stuff before? Come on. This is the ultimate in R/C. I don't let my kids use R/C inside and this is specifically an outdoor toy!!!! It can go through water, sand, leaves, haven't tried snow, but please... this is the best R/C ever. My boy can't get enough. He even shares it with his best friend. You are complaining that Tyco has handcuffed the consumer into buying a specific battery, yes it is true, however, what company has come close to building an R/C vehicle that can do all this? If you can't shell out the dough for technology now... wait until next year when it will be knocked off for less.

Review: Santa didn't realize Tyco's Terrain Twister (a pricey toy already!) needed this expensive battery pack--we even went through several garbage bags to see if we had accidentally thrown out the battery pack with the toy box. After calling every toy store in town, we ordered the battery pack through Amazon (back ordered for several weeks). The first time my son tried this toy in the tub, it died. Very expensive, disappointing toy.
