Review: This is a gorgeous sculpture depicting the classic team of Roy Rogers and his talented horse, Trigger.
Billed as "The Smartest Horse in the Movies", Trigger performed with Roy for more than 20 years, appearing in more than 85 movies between 1938 and 1959. Their devotion to one another was legendary.
While this beautiful piece is lovely to look at, please keep in mind that it is made of fine bisque porcelain and is not, therefore, a toy. The horse and rider are separate from the presentation base and, given the rearing position of the statue, are prone to tipping when bumped.
If you're looking for a gift for a younger horse-lover, the Breyer Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (ASIN: B000063V7D) might be a better choice.
