Review: This is a great starter kit for families that have kids who enjoy cops, robbers and car chases. When they talk about "staging bank robberies"...they mean that you can set off the bank alarm and have the "crooks" make a run for it...while the "cops" chase them. It is NOT promoting bank robbery to children.
As with all children's pretend games there is usually a "bad guy" and a "good guy"...otherwise what fun would the chase be? Your child can be either one...but will probably play both...as that's usually what happens when a child plays with a race car set.
There are enough violent games and media out there...without the above reviewer looking for trouble where there isn't any. Don't let that bad review steer you away from this race set. Your kids will enjoy it and it's a good value.

Review: Stage Bank Robberies!? My god what are they thinking? It's bad enough that games promoting murder, robbery and mayhem are available for teenagers. Now Mattel wants even younger kids to become criminals. When I was a kid playing cops and robbers, it was difficult finding someone to be the bad guy. Now even Mattel is encouraging kids to mastermind criminal activities.
This is a fun product and kids have loved hotwheels for generations. If they would just change the wording I could recommend this product. Stop promoting criminal activity!
