Summary: Real Nice Kitchen Worth the Money

Review: Simple put this is a real nice kitchen. The sounds are great. I also run Home ChildCare and all of the children except maybe the 7 and 8 years love this kitchen. They love to push the buttons, talk on the phone and open the doors. I have had a lot of kitchen sets also. I have one other favorite which is the Fisher Price. The model that has 2 sides and the highchair they can stand on either side and talk to each other.
The only thing I hate about this one is the oven door didn't stay closed so I had to throw it out, one little girl insisted it should close properly and she was driving me crazy. My bottom cabinet doors don't close tightly either.

Summary: Great kitchen for my tall 2-year-old daughter

Review: I bought this for my daughter's 2nd birthday and she absolutely loves it. At her birthday party, the boys were even captivated by it and playing forever--so much so that their parents are going to buy them one for Christmas now. Yes, assembly does take some time, but not forever--follow the instructions--they will help. I used a power drill, as it would've taken that much longer with a regular screwdriver. My daughter was around during assembly, but she loves to help, so she wasn't too impatient (you have to judge for your own child as to their patience level!) The two biggest "concerns" include the oven door & the phone. The oven door because it opens like a regular oven door, my daughter sometimes likes to use it as a step when it's open. So far it's held up--but it's something you may have to watch. Also, the phone is kind of hard to get back into place which frustrates my daughter at times. But, she LOVES all the noises it makes, loves "running the microwave" and pushing all the buttons, and the noise of the stovetop. All the "storage" options, opening and closing doors, cabinets, etc, are nice features, too. She is tall for her age (37 1/2") and I wanted a tall kitchen, and this one is PERFECT--it still has room for her to "grow" into it without her having to play on her knees. I definitely made the right choice!

Summary: What a Great Kitchen!

Review: I purchased this kitchen after a lot of research. I was deciding between the Little Tikes Indoor & Outdoor Grill Kitchen and this one. After comparing them in the store, I realized that the Little Tikes one didn't have ANY countertop space for playing. And I wasn't too sure about having to have the kitchen pulled away from the wall for the Grill. So I decided on this Step 2 kitchen.
My husband and I put this kitchen together in about 45 minutes. I am so impressed with this kitchen! I was concerned about the storage space but was pleased at how deep these cabinets are. I thought for sure nothing would fit into the microwave, but I was wrong. It is deep enough for any play pot or pan to fit with room to spare. The sink area is great for pretend clean up. I only wish the sink made water noises. But with all the other great features, I can live without the water noise. My daughter is going to love the cooking sounds and the overhead light. I think that was a great feature to add.
This kitchen has been out for many years. And now I know why. It has stood the test of time and there has been no need for Step 2 to make a new kitchen.

Summary: Great Kitchen Wish We Had All The Pieces

Review: I purchased this item at the Toys R Us store in Columbia, MO. I had to wait for 30 min for the customer service girl to finally figure out that they had these in stock. I love this kitchen and did alot of research before we bought it. It was relativly easy to put together. NOW to the NEGATIVE! I did not get all 27 pieces with our set so now I have to figure out where to get the rest of the parts. I live 30 min. away from the store and I am not happy. Merry Christmas!

Review: We bought this for my daughter last year for Christmas. She was not quite 3 and she loved it. My husband and I had a interesting time putting it together and it took us several hours to get together but the end result was so cute. The look on my daughter's face Christmas morning was well worth the time and effort it takes to put this together. My daughter plays with it almost everyday. It is durable and will last forever. Her friends flip over it whenever they come to play that is all they want to play with. You cannot go wrong with this toy. It was the best one available in my opinion and I did a lot of research on several different kitchens before deciding on this one. We don't have much space so I opted for this one instead of the larger one. It is perfect in every way.
