Summary: Great for kids... Wish there was one for adults
Date: 2005-12-15

Review: Very fun game! Lots of creative challenges. People have fun and laugh a lot. Great for team play too, because then some people will be strong in some categories and others in others... So you dont have to have a category you aren't very good at.

My only complaint is that it's too easy for adults. How about a harder version?

Summary: I am reviewing Bumparena, the others are not!

Review: The Bumparena game has nothing to do with acting out scenes or making clay shapes! It's the old "Avalanche" game, but with strategy. I have no idea why Amazon has linked those reviews to this game.

Bumparena is a great concept, but is poorly executed.

Trouble is, the sticky soft "super" balls get stuck on horizontal "bumper" bars on the way down the board. Poorly engineered game, and I'd be shocked is it were not recalled or somehow corrected. Caused great frustration for my 6 and 8 yr. old kids, and they are patient!

I am truly suprised at this failure, because all the other games from the Cranium line have been super.

Summary: Fun for Everyone!

Review: We received this game for our four year-old last year and he loved it. He turned five not long after he got it and his brother turned two. We were able to use this game in different ways for both of them to enjoy.

The only complaints I would have are that the balls are easily lost and that the cards are very small.

That being said, our whole family enjoys playing this game, although our older son quickly grew out of it. He enjoys Cadoo more. The younger one learned his numbers very quickly using this game and he still enjoys playing with it.

I would recommend this game for ages 2 1/2 - 4.

Review: It's fun and you get to hop on little pads. by Nicholas (5 years old) Both our boys (5 & 7) love this game. The directions are simple -- come on a card with simple illustrations and easy for the children to figure out. They can get the game out themselves, set it up and play it over and over and then put it away by themselves too. It is a great way to get your kids to think on their feet (literally) and be active at the same time. It is also fun for the whole family. Cute!

Summary: Cranium Hullabaloo or "Hop to the Spaghetti"
Date: 2005-12-10
Rating: 5
Review: Our 5 yr old fell in love with this game seeing it on a TV commercial. The instruction it gave, "Hop to the Spaghetti" stuck with her, and that's what she's always called the game...so we all do. She got it a year ago for Christmas when she was barely 5. The verbal instructions given by the toy are very clear and easy to understand. It is a huge success here, as I love watching all my kids have fun playing it, boys and girls, ages 5 - 17. There is always lots of laughing and fun. I would highly recommend it for families who need a game to span different ages. Everyone has the same chance at winning. The older kids don't have to 'throw the game' so that the younger ones can win once in awhile. It's great.
