Review: I saw this doll online and thought she looks like Martina McBride and her dress is just gorgeous. I wanted to buy her to add diversity to my collection, I liked the short hair do and I HAD to have the dress.
But when I saw her in person, I was disppointed. The dress is oddly not as pretty in person as it looks in pictures. SOmething about the scale is off (her necklace looks too large for her and the dress isn't cut as nicely as I thought it was and something about the shoes bother me). Her face and hair are not that pretty in person either- I am very disappointed, I really wanted this doll but have looked at her 3 times in person and can't bring myself to buy her-- I think Martina McBride is gorgeous.
One positive thing is this doll is not a "balloonhead", Barbie collectors will know what I am talking about--she has a normal size head sculpt.
I MIGHT get her if I see her at a reduced price...just to see if I can style her hair a little better, because I really do like dolls that add diversity to my collection and I do not have many Barbies that came with short hair...
Also does anyone notice...here lately, Barbies have had decals and not paint as their eyes and sometimes the decals are not applied "straight" so the eyes look wonkey. I hate this. You almost want to see a doll in person before you buy...

Review: Oh shut up you old frump! My Scene dolls are just as pretty! And lotsa people would be VERY angry! Plus they are a WHOLE DIFFERENT LINE!!! So unless regular Barbie sales just kinda stop, THERE WILL BE BARBIES!!!! By the wat, since I'm here, very pretty doll!
