Summary: FANTASTIC-a toy I even like to play with
Date: 2005-11-15
Rating: 5
Review: After reading the reviews I invested in the BIG box of 285 pieces thinking then we would have plenty, and was still shocked as most people said at how few that really was. Granted there are plenty for the whole family, but I thought it would be more.
That said, we love them. I think I love them as much as my kids. I usually have to force myself to sit down and play with my kids, but these I love.
We got these for my 5 year old, but even my 3 year old loves them. Obviously what they can build varies, but they are equally enthralled by them. My three year old thinks it is hilarious how some won't stick and others "jump" together.
I have to say despite the amount we've already paid, I am going to have to get more, they are seriously addicting and fun. My five year old has had some problems with fine motor skills. He gets very frustrated doing puzzles if he can't get it right. That is why I decided to get these, to help with fine motor skills. He is having so much fun, he doesn't know that he is learning.

Summary: A family that Magnetix together sticks together

Review: A total hit in our house. All the kids though these were so cool and so did the parents and aunts / uncles. My only complaint is you can never have enough. You just want to keep building and building.

Summary: I just can't say enough good things about this toy

Review: I just love magnetix as does my 7 year old. This toy promotes creativity, teaches about science (magnetic laws), and is just plain fun. My son and I play with these for hours. You can build them as high as legos but they also don't hurt as much when you step on them. The pieces are small so magnetix are definately not for kids under 3 and possibly even 4. They are absolutely worth the money.

Review: this tor breakes when you build tall buildings, but I made a mouse out of them. when the magnets are pushed back that makes me angry, but you can make people by just putting four magnets on one ball, but in all I say you shuld decide yourself.

Summary: Expensive, but good

Review: On the costly side, definitely. More balls ( connectors ) than
rods - don't be fooled by the "150" count.

That said, provides countless hours of fun for the young and
young at heart. It's great to the see the kids come up with
ideas -- that alone is worth the price. It's nice to watch
kids sit together and construct something.

A word of warning !

Some of the magents pop off the rods -- shoddy construction
for something you pay so much for.

Addictive - you may find yourself buying a couple more
sets to build a larger structure !
